Hadoken.net
Recently, I have been working on a WordPress design for the website hadoken.net which has been officially sent live and is being used.
This is a blog for the popular video game franchise, Street Fighter. Getting a heap of visitors each day, it was a great challenge for me to make the site clean and functional, but have the element of the game within it.
In the end, I personally think the static background image works fantastically for this site, and I am more than pleased with the result, and so is my client.
I also created the logo for this site. Wanting something to match the style of the game (anime super-powered fighting) I experimented with many different fonts and styles, but after showing this font to the client he fell in love with it instantly.
The fireball was based on moves within the game itself, and brings a great element into the name.

Thank you, that was an interesting post. I was actually just browsing the internet for some job opportunities and saw your blog. I’m distracted very easily. Must be why I don’t have a job. LOL! I’ll be sure to take a look through more of your blog.
